Movember

I (Ed) am growing a ridiculous moustache for Movember.

Movember (a portmanteau of the words ‘Moustache’ and ‘November’) is an annual month-long event involving the growing of moustaches during the month of November.

The  Movember Foundation charity has run Movember events to raise awareness and funds for men’s health issues, such as prostate cancer.

Movember is very proud to partner with Prostate Cancer Canada (PCC).

Prostate Cancer Canada (PCC) (BN 89127 0944 RR0001) is a national, not for profit, charitable organization which raises funds for the development of programs related to awareness, public education, advocacy, support of those affected and research into the prevention, detection, treatment and cure of prostate cancer.

Donations of $20 or over are tax deductible. Individuals who make a donation of over $20 will be issued a receipt. For smaller donations, they ask that people confirm whether they would like a receipt. (Donations of less than $20 will not automatically be issued a receipt.)
