Seattle Too Strong for Brave Scribes

About 25 or so guys made the road trip over the border to face Seattle RFC. Because of the numbers issue we decided to play the 1st div game first. Torrential rain made the conditions pretty tough and, in what proved to be a hard fought game, Seattle came out best with a score of 46-24.

In the second div game some of the boys put in a double shift and fought hard, but Seattle again won 56-12. The scoreboard did not reflect this game as we played well in stages and were unlucky in several plays.

There are a few injury concerns going into next week’s games against Abbotsford, with Nick Mott and Cole Robillard on the injury list.

Despite the two losses we got a few great tries and we still had fun despite the rain, and Seattle RFC were great hosts.  Saturday night was a good laugh with 15 or so staying the night.

Next up is home games against Abbotsford RFC on Saturday Oct. 24. Games start at 1pm and 2.30pm.
